A research diary about 'meme', the word was first used by Richard Dawkins in The Selfish Gene (1976). A meme is a unit or element of cultural ideas, symbols or practices. Jan Tschichold is a meme; the Jean&Paul&Ringo&George shirt forms a meme pool. The diary is also about this seemingly never-ending assignment, the confusion, the being lost in the 'meme pool'.
